I think it's great if an artist branches out and tries something new. And if it doesn't work, you can always go back. Great example: Madonna. She has been in business for a long time and still knows how to spice it up and switch things around. It keeps her interesting. I think if more big artists would do this, things can get more interesting. I guess staying in the same genre is better for a stable "love" score.
